The walking tips were a real highlight. They helped us skip the overly touristy spots and find places that felt more authentic, so we’ll have to return to see the rest. We also loved the generous breakfast, with bread, brioche, milk, coffee, and homemade yogurt all available freely. The rooms were simple and comfortable, and the house and outdoor areas matched the description. Thanks to our hosts for making us feel so welcome. Dinner brought original homemade dishes with an excellent Pineau des Charentes aperitif, and the picnic basket had a beautifully seasoned salad. And that little Basque cake!

Saint Pompain is a lovely quiet place to stop near Niort. The rooms are practical and nicely furnished, and breakfast is generous. Laurent and Laetitia welcomed us warmly, offered us an aperitif, and served an excellent meal. Laetitia is a very good cook and also caters locally. A particularly pleasant bed and breakfast.

The food is well worth trying: inventive cooking, quality ingredients, and a very attractive price. Our hosts were incredibly helpful, and the bedding was perfect. Everything was impeccably clean, with all the amenities just right and a genuinely warm atmosphere. I recommend this gîte 200%!

The setting is peaceful and idyllic, and Laëtitia and Laurent are charming hosts who were welcoming and helpful throughout my four-night stay. I came to explore Niort and the surrounding area while considering a future move there. Breakfast was very good 😇. Go without hesitation.

The evening meal was delicious, and breakfast had lovely local flavors. We also got excellent guidance and a very warm welcome. The value for money is truly exceptional ;) I highly recommend this bed and breakfast. Thank you!
