Maison De L'Aguze

The terrace was such a pleasant spot to sit, eat, work, or have a drink and a chat. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, and you could choose what you wanted ahead of time. Chris and Rhianne were warm, attentive hosts, with helpful tips on places to visit and eat, and anything else we asked about. The house is beautiful and very clean, with spacious rooms, lovely old-fashioned furniture in excellent condition, big light-filled windows, and a comfortable bed and pillows. They also had local beer, wine, coffee, and soft drinks. We felt secure, too, as the Covid rules were followed very carefully. We had a wonderful stay, though leaving was the hard part.

Breakfast was five-star, with quality ingredients, and Chris & Rhianne gave us a warm welcome while remaining attentive and discreet. Our room and bathroom were spotless and high quality. The old house has loads of charm. A real little gem, five stars all round.

The homemade energy bars for our ride the next day were such a thoughtful touch. We were there for a cycling charity event, and Gavin and family made everyone feel welcome, even offering a group meal to people who weren't staying at the B&B. The food was delicious, and the evening had a lovely, convivial feel after a day of cycling. The house and garden have been beautifully renovated. We'll be back!

On our cycling trip along the "passapaïs" greenway, we stopped at Chris & Rhianne's place twice and were welcomed like royalty. The bedroom was large, with very comfortable bedding and a lovely adjoining bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, and there are several little restaurants nearby, along with an intermarché right next door. Many thanks to Chris & Rhianne for their kindness, hospitality, and helpful advice.
