Camping Les Cerisiers Du Jaur

Our pitch had plenty of shade, which we appreciated. Some of the other spots have no shade at all, and I imagine that's not so pleasant. The campsite was nice, and we had a very good time. The pool was fine, with lots of loungers, and the sanitary facilities were clean and tidy. There are only a few showers, so you could realistically end up waiting.

The pool was great, and the bar area was busy, with tasty food. I enjoyed watching the Euro Football on the big screen. The campsite sits in lovely countryside, with a pretty river nearby for cooling off, and it's on a 56km cycle track. Shops and fuel are close by. Our pitch was okay. The toilets looked fairly new but could have been cleaner.

I had a great time there this summer after a friend recommended the place, and the advice was spot on. It's a lovely, clean spot in a great location, with amazing staff and good food. If you're after a quiet holiday, there's what you need for a break from the rest of the year. They have activities a few days a week, and the shops aren't too far away.

We liked the campsite, but the peace was spoiled by noise. It's very close to a main road, and lorries disturbed us in the mornings. In the evenings, the playground was noisy at 10.45pm, which felt unacceptable when the pool had closed at 7pm.
