Getting into the room took over an hour after I arrived around 11 p.m. The entry code failed through roughly 20 tries, and the entrance intercom was unreliable, cutting out so I had to call back and explain everything again. It turned out the door was also locked with the housekeeper’s key, so the code alone could never have let me in. I asked to switch rooms because I didn’t want to stay outside while they sorted it out, but they refused. The staff’s attitude was awful and showed no basic customer service.

The rooms are very basic, and reception was pretty poor for an F1. When we arrived, we were told the laundry hadn’t brought the towels, so there was only one for the two of us. The receptionist did call the manager to try to fix it and eventually gave us another towel, thankfully. I wouldn’t choose this place unless I had no other option.

The bed was good, and the room was clean. It stayed fairly quiet at night, and breakfast was good with enough to eat. Toilets and showers are at the end of the corridor. The keypad entry can be tricky sometimes. A decent one-night stay if you’re watching the price.

I was woken up when a staff member opened my room with a key around 6 p.m., even though guests are meant to enter by code. Then, despite my booking running until noon, someone knocked very hard at 10:23 the next morning and told me to leave so she could clean. The stay was only 22 hours, not 24, and that made this especially frustrating. The room was cold when I checked in at 2 p.m., even though I’d booked it on the hotel website 90 minutes earlier. The heater had been switched off, and the noisy ceiling unit took about four hours to bring the temperature to an acceptable level. The floor was filthy, as if it hadn’t been cleaned for weeks or after several guests. Beside the bed I found a lump of fur, hair, and what looked like skin tissue, and attached photos. Unbelievable. I wouldn’t recommend this motel to anyone.
