Domaine de la sablière (Naturiste)

We’d wanted to visit Sabliere, but after a disastrous holiday at another centre Cap Fun took over this year, we won't spend money with them again. We were left among trenches, heaps of mud, poor accommodation, and lorries and diggers working day and night, with other problems on top of that. The staff seemed fed up with complaints and couldn't care less. We didn't even get an apology for a ruined holiday. I’d advise against booking with this corrupt organisation under any circumstances. We’ll stick with Dutch-owned independent sites from now on, since they care about their customers and good service.

We came for a week, and the broken shower meant we had to drive down to find one that worked. They should fix it or provide a backup. Worse, the bar by the Pool area played loud music and bass until 2 or sometimes 2.45 at night nearly every evening. I understand a party on the weekend, but on weekdays the music should stop at 23, or at least during the night. We were in the pinson area, and the beats made it hard to sleep. This is supposed to be a family campsite, but with parties going late each night it no longer feels family-friendly. I’d stayed here before, but won’t return. The rules used to be respected. There should be no noise after 00.00.

The new waterslides are a great addition for older kids, and there are three bars and restaurants serving really good food. The place is clean and well kept, and the staff are so friendly. A fantastic campsite with what you need for a great holiday at any age.

The staff are generally good. Jazz at the Trois Arches deserves a mention and should be restaurant manager, and Leon at Eden Roc too. I love Sablière and have been back every year since 2010, but lately it feels out of touch with its visitors. There are no rubbish or recycling points now, so guests have to carry everything to the top of the steep gorge. On a naturist holiday, having to walk or drive all the way up is the last thing you want. They charge for dogs but don't provide poo bins.
