Hotel Memorial

For our last night in France, this was a real treat. Our small apartment was at the back of the grounds, beautifully furnished and spotless. The reception, bar, and restaurant were bright and comfortable, with lovely decor. There seemed to be friendly, chatty staff and guests everywhere.

The warm welcome stood out most. We arrived late, but the night attendant opened the gates and showed us to a space in the tidy, secure car park. The formalities were quick, and we were soon in room 123. It was beautifully decorated, with tasteful artwork, a fresh smell, and a really clean feel. The beds were big and comfortable, with lovely soft linen, and the shower was a good size. It’s quiet here, so sleeping well should be easy. Next time, we’d like to book 014 for its terrace. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including fresh meat and cheese, yoghurt, fruit, and the option of cooked eggs or something else. I just had coffee and a pain au chocolat, which suited me. The breakfast area was clean and organized, and there was outdoor seating in good weather. This little hotel is a gem, whether you need a night’s stop or somewhere to stay for a few days. Pierre and Dauphine could teach the big chains a thing or two. Everyone was so friendly. Thank you to Pierre and the team. We’ll be back.

We had a lovely stay, with a great room, comfortable bed, and nice linens. The meat and cheese platter we shared was delicious and good value. Our dog was made very welcome, which matters a lot to us. Thanks, we’ll be back.

We had a great time staying here, and the meeting room and food were brilliant. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The rooms were good, too, so it’s a great place for a business meeting as well as an enjoyable stay. Thank you!
