The rooms are simple, but they were perfectly fine for us. What made the stay special was how warm and welcoming the owners were, and the food was excellent. It’s nice to find a family-run hotel that still puts real care into its hospitality. I’d happily recommend it.

I booked very late, and they were still kind and flexible when I arrived late. For €36, my room had a shared shower and toilet out on the landing, and breakfast was very good. An affordable room, and I’d definitely recommend it.

It’s a little old-fashioned, with a lovely family feel, and some regulars even have their own tables. There’s a sense that time slows down here. Stop in for a break and a delicious traditional French or Spanish dish. They’re open for lunch and dinner, but closed on Saturdays.

The shower barely had any water pressure, and the crib we’d booked with our double room online wasn’t there when we arrived. The owner wasn’t friendly either. We’d paid by credit card online, with it clearly stated that the charge wouldn’t be taken right away, but on arrival we were told the payment had been rejected. The owner’s room was next to ours, and she walked through the hallways in her nightgown. When I said I was paying €37 for this, she took offense and asked whether I had a problem. A customer shouldn’t be spoken to like that. If she can’t take criticism and talks to all her guests this way, she’s not suited to running a hotel and could soon be out of business. In my opinion, the room is worth €15 a night. I strongly advise against staying here.
