The gnocchi with mushrooms was the best dish we had on holiday, absolutely exceptional. The chef and team clearly know their craft. I tried to let our server know how impressed I was, though he didn’t seem very interested. Still, thank you for a wonderful meal. 10/10.

The Pavlova was the best I’ve ever had, and I definitely recommend trying it if you’re at Excelsior. That’s the one reason I’d suggest this restaurant. It was also quite expensive for a dessert compared with other places in Saint Raphael, at 13.5 euros. The service was very average, almost poor: our table hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests, and we waited 15 minutes for a menu. When a waiter finally came, he chatted with someone else while taking our order. The atmosphere was nothing special either.

The ocean views are nice and the food was good, but the service was terrible. Inside, it feels outdated, so I came away with mixed feelings.

The food was average and the service mediocre. We spoke with two waiters who couldn’t speak any English, even though there was an English menu. They didn’t offer it to us.
