The campsite is pretty, leafy, and well kept, and the pool is large enough that it doesn’t feel too crowded even when busy. My partner and I stayed in a Bastidon, which was just right for two. I especially liked having our own terrace, though the “kitchen” is quite small. It’s also a handy base for exploring. The Alpilles Regional Natural Park is a 10-15 minute drive away for hiking or walks, and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence is nearby, with plenty of restaurants and shops. Despite being in an industrial area, the campsite is relatively well located, easy to find by car, and clearly signposted from the road. Our accommodation felt quite old and could use updating. The tiles, toilet, shower, and bathroom sink are dated, and some basics are missing, like a shelf for shower gel in the shower, somewhere to put toiletries in the bathroom, and a worktop in the kitchen. The painting was rushed, with drips everywhere. Around the campsite, some things aren’t clearly marked either. For example, unless you walk around, you wouldn’t know where to find the ping-pong table. We were welcomed warmly, but I found the owner unprofessional and only saw him on our arrival day. We tried to find him for several days to ask about activities, rubbish disposal, our stay, and the amenities, but never saw him again because he wasn’t even at the campsite. We had to leave our keys in the door when we left, since nobody was around. I had a nice holiday overall. It’s a beautiful campsite from the outside, though the inside of our accommodation needs updating, and the owner’s lack of professionalism was disappointing. I don’t think we’ll return, but the campsite wasn’t all bad!
