The birdsong outside our windows in the morning is something I won't forget. We also loved the peaceful grounds, perfect for a stroll or a nap beneath the trees. It was chilly during our visit, so we skipped the sparkling pool, though it looked very inviting. Laurence welcomed my family and me with such warmth at Mas Valentine. She said she'd been looking forward to our arrival, and her cheerful, radiant manner made us feel at home as soon as we entered the beautiful reception area. The hotel's signature floral scent in every room was fresh and lovely. She even spritzed a pretty hand-held fan for us, and the fragrance suited this unique farmhouse perfectly. Our two rooms were clean and well appointed, with comfortable beds and pillows that helped us sleep well. Laurence also took time to suggest local restaurants based on the kind of food and experience we wanted. We had a delicious dinner in St. Remy that evening. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with something for everyone, and the staff we met were positive and kind. Merci beaucoup, Laurence. We enjoyed every moment at Mas Valentine and hope to return. You've given us very special memories to keep forever.

The team, especially Domitille, made us feel so welcome. She suggested restaurants and places to see, and we had a fabulous stay. The hotel sits in quiet countryside about a four minute drive from St-Remy. Its beautiful gardens, large pool, and courtyard gravel terrace where breakfast is served made it especially lovely. I’d highly recommend staying here. Thank you, Hotel Mas Valentine and team!

Laurence went out of her way to help us, driving us in her classic Fiat 500 into St Remy for dinner and picking us up because we didn't have a hire car. That was beyond what we expected. The team were very welcoming and helpful, and they accommodated our requests for vegan breakfast options. The hotel is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and well kept, with a lovely pool. Walking to town is a little far, so bikes for guests would be a good investment. There is some road traffic noise, though it didn't bother us. We had a very enjoyable stay and would thoroughly recommend it.

We arrived at 10.00pm after our flight, but nobody was at reception. We called the emergency number and were hung up on after explaining we were at the hotel. We'd paid for three nights in advance, so we had to find and pay for another hotel at the last minute. When we returned the next day, the staff weren't apologetic and spoke to us condescendingly. They offered no compensation, only pointed to fine print saying we had to notify them in advance of a late arrival, which we couldn't do while in the air. The manager then claimed she had been manning reception at 10.00, which was far from the truth. We paid 700 euros for nothing. Hotel B Design and Spa nearby is a much better option, with delightful staff, amenities, and food in a magnificent garden setting. There's no comparison. I never write negative reviews, but I feel compelled to this time.
