Une Pause Sur La Colline - Gîte 4 pers.

We finished our vacation on such a high note here, and we'd happily come back. The hosts were so kind, and the cottage for four had everything we needed, including what we needed to make our own meals. It sits right at the top of a hill, tucked away with a magnificent view. We spent three relaxing days surrounded by animals. My daughter loved helping care for the pigs and chickens and watching the dogs train. The Camino de Santiago is only a few meters away, so we also took a short walk there. One thing to know: the pony ride isn't free. We only found out the price after we got back from the ride.

The kids especially enjoyed feeding the chickens and pigs, meeting the sheep, goats, and sheepdogs, and going on the pony rides. The place itself is peaceful and restorative, with a magnificent view, and the cottage is comfortable and well equipped. Catherine and David were warm, welcoming hosts who clearly love what they do. We had a wonderful stay thanks to them. It's a marvelous place to discover, and we'd love to return.

We had dinner in the garden as the sun went down, then breakfast in the living room. The quiet setting, open view, and gentle animals made the stay feel restorative. The lovely couple took time to tell us about their passion for raising Border Collies as shepherds. We'll remember Gros and Justin too ;-)

The hosts were kind, flexible, and available, and we had a lovely time with them. This beautiful guesthouse made a fantastic stopover, with a wonderful setting and superb views from breakfast. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful too. Thank you for such a lovely stay!
