The rooms have charm, though they’re ageing, with clunky plumbing and an uncomfortable mattress. Those things would have been minor beside what we experienced with the hospitality. We were greeted without even a hello, then the owner’s verbal aggression felt oppressive, and the next day we were thrown out. It was the worst hospitality we’ve ever experienced. The owner is someone we wish we’d never met. I hope he finds peace and considers psychological support, perhaps along with some rest or a change of profession.

The beds were comfy and the rooms were great, with a really good breakfast too. Staff were very friendly. The floors do creak.

We spent a weekend at this lovely accommodation, but paid significantly more than at other places nearby because we wanted the “heated” pool. It was barely 25°C. In the middle of winter it was impossible, or at least very difficult, to get in. Such a shame, especially since we’d warned the owner.

We were stopping on the way back from vacation and were pleasantly surprised by the owner’s warm welcome. They made us feel at ease right away with a tour of the property. Dinner was homemade, full of flavor, and offered as a menu. The setting is charming and unusual, with a heated pool, and breakfast included fresh products. A superb stopover. We’ll be back!

The indoor pool sits in a vaulted cellar, and the cottages and tastefully decorated rooms are beautiful. We had delicious meals prepared with care. Everything felt perfect, and the weekend was unforgettable. I highly recommend this place.
