The setting at Le Domaine Du Clos Du Phare is what I’ll remember most. We watched the sun go down from a gazebo, with Pont Normandie and the river in the distance. It was calm and romantic, even with our son gaming on his phone back in the room. There’s plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the views, and the heated pool area was among the best I’ve experienced for its setting. We stayed Thursday to Saturday with my wife and our 11-year-old. Our flat was on the second floor, up some pretty steep stairs. It had a sitting room with a small, handy kitchenette, dining table and sofa bed, plus a separate spacious bedroom with a TV. The bathroom was small, modern and had a shower. From the flat we could see across the property and countryside, including sheep quietly grazing in the neighboring field. The setup suited our family well. We picked up dinner at the nearby E.Leclerc Hypermarche. Breakfast was a lovely surprise: juice, bread, homemade marmalade, pain au chocolat, croissants, yogurt, fruit and berries, plus cheese and ham. Didier made fresh scrambled eggs, and our son was delighted with his hot chocolate. Didier was attentive and got in touch before we arrived to make sure everything was ready. I write reviews to help owners of well-run places and help others find somewhere good to stay, and sometimes to do the opposite. This one was a pleasure to write. Le Domaine Du Clos Du Phare has stayed with me. Enjoy Normandie.

I slept better here than I ever have. The beds were that good. The rooms aren’t large, but there’s enough space, and the bathroom was really nice and pleasant to use. The hotel feels very luxurious, and the staff were lovely and helpful. I came across the place on a motorcycle website. It isn’t specifically a motorcycle hotel, but the private parking behind a gate made me feel secure about leaving my bike outside.

The rural setting was lovely, and the WiFi was a welcome surprise out there. We came with our extended family, a mix of older and younger relatives. The gîtes were comfortable and the accommodation was spotless. Superb place to stay, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Didier’s fresh croissants and pain au chocolat were amazing. We loved the spacious house, the beautiful grounds and how peaceful and well kept everything was. Great host!

We stayed in the biggest cottage, which had room for eight adults. The owner was really helpful, and it’s a very nice place to relax. It is quite expensive, but you get what you pay for. The supermarkets are far away.
