Lagrange Vacances - Le Clos Savornin

Pretty cool.

The garden and pool are lovely, and the villa feels very comfortable. It was spotless and well cared for, which surprised me a little given that the villas have been around for 12 years. We arrived to a warm, attentive welcome, with dish towels, hand towels and pool towels provided. The bed was made, toiletries were included, and there was a small cleaning kit with a sponge, bin bag and dishwasher tablet. Fantastic place, we'll be back. Bravo!

We booked through Booking.com, where the listing said all fees were included. After we booked, a €209.65 final cleaning charge appeared on top of the €600 house cost, making the cleaning fee about a third of that price. A gentleman at Booking.com said the charges hadn't been listed anywhere and were high. He asked the property whether we could cancel, but they said no. By the next day, the charges were visible, so beware. The €1200 security deposit is also very high, as is the extra €400 for a dachshund. It's unclear why the charges are so high.

The people we met here will stay in our memories, especially Sandrine, Damien and Dylan, who were always cheerful, available and ready with advice, help and support. They played a huge part in making our trip a success, and I highly recommend Clos Savornin to anyone wanting to discover this part of Provence. We came from Lower Saxony, Germany, and spent 20 unforgettable days at this very spacious, well-maintained villa. The heated pool gave us the peace and relaxation we needed, while mild, sunny autumn weather made it a pleasure to explore the Luberon and nearby villages during the grape harvest. Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt, the Luberon, the Vaucluse region and the wonderful people of Provence will always be etched in our memories. Thank you again.
