Chateau Des Saveurs is full of character, and we loved our stay there. The owner even sent us off with some of their homemade preserves. Dinner was a delicious three courses, followed by a typical French breakfast in the morning. It's also a great place if you're travelling with a dog. The staff didn't speak much English, but they were so friendly and did everything they could to make us feel welcome. This little gem is in a village not far from Honfleur and Le Harve.

Didier was a fantastic host, and the place was wonderfully quiet and romantic. We had a lovely dinner and a great breakfast. Charming stay all round, we'll be back.

Such a lovely setting, with wonderful views and a charming building. The staff were so welcoming, the food was great, and I loved the terrace. Definitely going again.

The room and bathroom were clean and tidy, and the freestanding bathtub was beautiful. Breakfast was good too. There was an old-house smell around the hotel, though it didn't reach our room. The owner was very enthusiastic, maybe a bit too much for me. His little dog followed us right into the bedroom during the room tour, and I wasn't keen on that. There was dog hair on the chair at our breakfast table as well.

The château itself is in an exceptional setting, but we left New Year's Eve really disappointed. There were too many guests, 134, and the music was so loud we couldn't talk with the other people there. The show was very mediocre, and the meal felt like company cafeteria food: frozen dessert, too few canapés, and mediocre wines. At 88 euros per person without champagne, the service didn't come close to matching the price. It felt like profit had been put ahead of quality.
