The garden was wonderful, and our dog was right at home there, making a friend to play with while we ate breakfast. We stopped here on the way to the South of France and loved this charming old house, which has been in the family since the beginning of the 1700’s. We were welcomed so warmly, and the room worked perfectly for our family of three and our dog. Breakfast was plentiful, with plenty of choices. The house is just a few steps from the center and the abbey, so it would suit a longer stay too.

The hosts made us feel very welcome, and our room had a kettle with teas. Breakfast was laid out at the table with a great selection of charcuterie, fromages, pains, configured, croissant, and freshly made tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. It’s a beautiful historic house with a lovely secluded garden.

Cluny is a beautiful setting, and this home is right in the centre. Our dog was very welcome, and the typically French breakfast was perfect. Phillipe and Helene gave us such a warm welcome and took great personal care of us. The house dates from 1700, and you can still feel its history. Definitely worth the money, and we hope to come back one day!

I’ve stayed in three different rooms here, and each has its own decor while being just as comfortable and homey as the others. The price includes a room and a classic French breakfast. The coffee is excellent, and the pastries are delicious, freshly made each morning by a local baker. I’m already eager to come back as soon as I can. It’s a fantastic place to stay in the Maconais Valley.

The bikes had safe parking, and the location was good. We were welcomed on the terrace with fresh drinks, then had a superb breakfast. The rooms are very nice and spacious, and the garden is superb too.
