It was really peaceful and relaxing, with comfortable, nicely furnished rooms and very good bedding. Breakfast was excellent, with homemade honey and jams, and the owners were charming. I’d recommend it.

We felt so at home that, instead of heading to the sea as I’d expected, we wanted to stay as long as we could. It’s a real haven of well-being, with quiet surroundings, a clear sky full of stars, and animals. The wild landscape, a mix of forests and hedgerows, stretches as far as you can see, even though it’s only two hours from Paris. Everything was spotless. The young couple are very friendly and passionate about nature and local history. Their organic cooking is delicious and balanced, made with produce from their own garden. I’m simply going back in two weeks :)

We had two wonderful evenings with Hélène and Jocelyn, who made us feel warmly and sincerely welcome. The local food was delicious, and the €25 set menu, including aperitif and drinks, is unbeatable value. It’s an ideal base for visiting Carrouges, Sées, the lovely countryside, the peat bogs, and more. We highly recommend this lovely place. Thank you for your hospitality!

Such quiet, green, relaxing surroundings. We got to spend time walking among their horses and foals, which was a guaranteed change of scenery. The table d'hôtes featured local products worthy of a chef, and the conversations were fascinating. Thank you!
