At dinner, around a dozen Asian Hornets were flying around inside the restaurant. Their nest was beside the entrance, so management had the chance to remove it before welcoming guests. Some people are allergic to their stings, which could have made this life-threatening. An employee was stung and spent quite a while tending to the sting on his upper arm. The food was mediocre, too. We attended a wedding reception there last evening. Our hosts booked the place because it was the only one that didn’t require reserving a year in advance. Now we understand why. This place may once have been better, but from my very recent experience, they don’t care about guests. I took a couple of videos of the hornets inside the restaurant, but Google Reviews doesn’t support video posts.

The Hôtel d’En Fargou was a lovely surprise. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. The hotel sits in a beautiful, well-kept wooded park, and the welcome was warm. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated, and breakfast was served in a lovely dining room.

The staff were so welcoming and attentive, and breakfast was served in a personalized way. There’s free parking, the bed was comfortable, and the shower and bathroom area was very practical. The room was clean, well appointed, and tastefully decorated. It’s close to the highway but still very quiet. Highly recommended if you’re passing through.

A gorgeous estate, and the restaurant is very good. Service was slow, though, and the waitresses sometimes showed a lack of discretion, like leaving the aperitif glass on the table for the entire meal, among other things. Still, I expect it will improve with time. I highly recommend this magnificent place.
