Chateau Sainte Cecile

I have such lovely memories of photographing a wedding at Château Sainte Cécile. The refined gardens and elegant architecture make for a romantic setting, with soft, poetic light in every corner that's ideal for capturing the emotions of a wedding day. We came from Lyon with no plans or expectations and didn't even know the name Saint-Thibéry. Somehow we ended up at this castle, and crossing the threshold left us breathless. It felt like stepping into a dream or an old forgotten tale, surrounded by calm, beauty, and elegance. The pool seemed suspended in time, as if we were floating between heaven and earth, and the sumptuous, delicate rooms made us feel like royalty. I felt like a princess, a queen, a dreamer awake. Our hosts were exquisitely discreet, always available if needed and so considerate that we felt we had the castle to ourselves. It was a feeling of being away from the world, safe and at peace. Everything was perfect, from the spotless cleanliness to the warm welcome. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to relive this magical interlude, again and again. If you're passing near Saint-Thibéry, give yourself this little escape, even for just one night. Some places change something inside you, and this is one of them.

We stopped here as a family while traveling the Canal du Midi route. The host was very helpful and friendly, and we had an excellent welcome. The whole château was lovely. Breakfast was very generous, served in a consistently pleasant setting, and we enjoyed the pool in the morning since the rooms have to be vacated by noon. I'd give the location 4/5 stars because getting around was a bit harder for us on bicycles. The villages of Pézenas and Bessan are reachable by a safe road. I highly recommend this château.

We celebrated our wedding at Château Sainte Cécile in June 2024 and have very fond memories of the venue. It's magnificent, and the manager was extremely accommodating. We were able to visit several times with our different vendors without any problem. The rooms are beautiful, and it's impressive that the venue can accommodate 30 people. Thanks again!
