The location was just right, a quiet natural spot by the sea, yet only a six-minute walk from all the restaurants. We enjoyed the lovely walk there and back. The hotel was very clean and well looked after, and our room was thoughtfully equipped and cared for. We had a fabulous stay and are grateful for the hospitality.

We had a great stay. The hotel was extremely clean and well laid out, and the staff were excellent. Our only fault was that there were no evening meals. We'll definitely return and recommend it to friends.

We were four guys on motorbikes and had a really good time. The rooms were very clean, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We didn't try the food, since eating in town, just a short walk away, is cheaper. It's a good base for touring the island.

The warm, professional welcome was a real highlight. The setting is exceptional, with a terrace overlooking the ocean, and the hotel feels spacious and peaceful. The well-kept spa was especially pleasant. Breakfast was excellent too, with fresh, high-quality continental options. Its location worked well for exploring the island, including the Chassiron Lighthouse at the northern tip and the Citadel of Château-d'Oléron. The room could have offered more privacy. The bed creaked with even the slightest movement, which could be bothersome for privacy or sleep. Still, I had an excellent stay and highly recommend the hotel.
