Le Pre De La Mer

The team at Le Pre De La Mer were friendly and happy, and they spoke English with us effortlessly. They were kind and supportive when we tried out our French, too. We got useful tips on beaches and how to reach them, plus towels and bike locks for our outings. Having the bikes was a huge help. We rode them to the beaches and out to dinner or shopping, usually about 10 minutes each way and not too hilly. The walk into town took about 30 minutes along a narrow road. We also spent time by the pristine pool and used the fitness room. Our room was spacious, with a bathroom that felt utterly luxurious. There was plenty of delicious breakfast pastry, and dinner was delicious as well. The chef clearly loves his food and cares about putting together a wonderful meal. We loved Le Pre De La Mer and hope to return!

We ended up leaving because the room we were given was so poor that we couldn’t stay. It was dark and tiny, with no room even for our suitcases. The online photos don’t match what you actually get. We expected a large, bright room and got something small and gloomy instead. When we showed the photo to the manager, she said the room doesn’t get sun. We asked for a refund after leaving, but got nothing and they kept all our money. If you want to feel depressed, this is the place. My advice is not to book, because you’ll be disappointed.

It’s a small, family-run hotel with really nice, friendly staff who are very flexible.

Florence is a fantastic host, and she and her team are so lovely. They make sure every wish is taken care of. The rooms, garden and pool area are all very nice, and the food is excellent ♥ This is one of the most beautiful hotels in St. Tropez, and it’s a great place to relax. We’ve stayed here three times already for our holiday and will be back again :-) Merci beaucoup♥
