The location worked perfectly for us. We could step outside and choose from shops and restaurants, and the place is attached to the Louis Vuitton restaurant, which is cool. Guests get a lovely breakfast even though the restaurant doesn’t open to the public until 1500hrs. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff friendly and helpful. There’s a nearby night club that plays music late every night. It didn’t bother me, though it could bother someone else.

The staff came to feel like family by the end of the trip, and I just love this hotel. It’s a lovely place with the charm of an old building, without being overly fancy. Our room was large and had great views of the action nearby. We thought we’d found the best dinner spots all week, but ate at the hotel on our last night and it became our favorite. The food, presentation, service and atmosphere were by far the best.

Belle ambiance, and I loved the friendly service at this sophisticated bar in the former Maison Blanche. It has very high-end champagnes and cocktails, LVMH only. The quality of the very rustic glasses unfortunately falls well short of everything else.

Maison Blanche used to be our favorite spot for a drink in St. Tropez. During the height of Covid, I dreamed of returning to St. Tropez and having a drink there. For years, we sent people from the United States and told them to mention us by name to the manager, who always appreciated it. Sadly, the management has changed, and so have the service and ambiance. It’s disappointing to see the place cheapened. Too bad, it used to be wonderful to visit.

We had a room on the third floor, up the stairs, and didn’t like its unusual layout at all. The service was amazing, though. They even helped us after we’d already checked out.
