Le Charlot

The house is very well located and has a view of the harbor. There's a garage behind it, reached by stairs from the courtyard, so you can avoid paying for parking throughout St. Valéry. Inside, the large, well-equipped kitchen and the living-room fireplace make it nice to have a fire in the evening. There's also a very large bedroom on the second floor. Still, there are lots of steps, and that staircase isn't suitable for elderly people or anyone with mobility issues. As many reviews have said, the owner isn't very available: he's hard to reach by phone, slow to reply to texts, and doesn't make time to welcome guests or be there when they leave. I'm not sure he takes the minor faults guests report into account and fixes them.

This spacious rental is well-equipped and ideally located, but it needs better upkeep. The garage, bathroom, and toilet doors don't close properly, the remote control is broken, and the toilet seat isn't fixed. With so many stairs, I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with reduced mobility.

Ideally situated for St Valery, this accommodation is in a really great location.

The owner was very friendly, and the house was pleasant and in a great location. We had an excellent stay and would definitely come back.
