The breakfasts were outstanding, and everyone was so friendly. The service was impeccable, and the themed rooms were spotless.

We found this gourmet grocery during a walk and were quickly tempted by its unusual sandwich choices. The lamb and samphire one deserves a special mention, and the local ingredients tasted so fresh they brought the region to mind. The crusty bread was a nice change from baguettes. They also offer a traditional ham and butter sandwich for anyone who prefers that. We got a warm welcome and helpful advice, and we’ll be back.

We were taking ages to decide, but the young woman was patient and took time to help us choose. My wife had a generously filled vegetarian wrap, and I tried the mallard. There’s a broad selection, and we liked how fresh the local products were. The sandwiches are original, and the welcome was friendly. We’ll try the Picard frozen food next time, it looked really tempting, though that’s mostly an excuse to return, haha. Thanks for the warm service.

The owners were friendly and paid attention to what guests needed. Our room was spotless and really spacious, with a lively theme that pulled us right into its fantastical world. Breakfast was generous and delicious, especially the bread, which was a real treat.

We came away a little disappointed after our first visit. The ham and butter sandwich was generously filled, but the Maroilles cheese one was only okay. The baguette was hard, and the muffin was dry. We paid over €20 for two sandwich meals, which didn’t feel cheap.
