B&B Hotel Montluçon Saint-Victor

The buffet was lovely and laid out well, and the rooms were comfortable for a short stay. We stopped overnight during a long trip and found it clean and welcoming, with a practical restaurant next door and an ideal location. My only suggestion is to keep frozen gluten-free bread available on request for coeliac guests. That's a common service in Europe, but France is slow to provide it.

We stayed for one night on the trip home after Christmas, with our six-month-old baby and dog. It was our first time here and everything went perfectly. The price was very affordable, and the modern rooms were clean and peaceful. Highly recommend :)

There's a petrol station, McDonald's, a small supermarket and restaurants all within walking distance, which makes the location really convenient. The hotel is basic, but the rooms are clean and there's secure parking. Breakfast was pretty good, with bacon and eggs if that's what you feel like. A great stop when you're on your way somewhere else.

B&B hotels are cheap and very basic, but they're easy to find at the end of a long drive, usually have a restaurant nearby, and often have someone at reception. The rooms are simply furnished and clean. The beds are always big and comfortable, and the linen is decent quality.
