The breakfast was wonderful, with everything on offer, and the area was quiet and relaxing. Our room was extremely clean and had a little terrace with a table and two chairs. There was parking right in front of the hotel, and a huge supermarket with petrol pumps about 10 minutes away. One downside after a long day driving was that dinner service didn't start until 8pm, which felt late, even knowing we were in France. Still, what a lovely little find. Highly recommend it, and we'll be back.

We'd happily come back. The food was really good, and the room was simple but had what we needed, plus a nice terrace. Although the hotel is beside the road, you hardly notice it while you're there. The staff were friendly, especially the woman who spoke English and ordered our food. Compliments to her.

Breakfast was outstanding: real coffee made from beans, bakery croissants, fresh baguette, homemade marmalade, French cheese, and everything felt organic rather than supermarket or industrial quality. The family-owned hotel has a lovely atmosphere, garden, and a calm setting. Our room was in great condition, very clean, and quiet. We'll definitely return.

The bedroom was okay, with a garden view and access, though the furniture seemed like a few random pieces thrown together. The hotel is in a beautiful countryside setting with lovely gardens, but the welcome felt rather cold. I speak decent French, so the receptionist's lack of English wasn't a problem for me, though visitors from other countries could struggle. We rang the desk bell at 8:50am and got no answer, even after knocking on the door marked Privé. Luckily it wasn't anything serious. Breakfast cost 11€ per person and was a typical carb-heavy spread, watched over by a very fussy staff member. It's a shame such a pretty hotel seems to be run by inexperienced or apathetic people.

The rooms and hotel were clean, but the stay was a bad experience. We booked because there was a restaurant, but the booking site never said it had to be reserved separately. After a six-hour drive, we were tired and hungry, and were told it was fully booked. Room service wasn't possible either. After some discussion, staff agreed we could eat in the foyer, which had tables and chairs, so we thought that was settled. Around 7:45, we were asked to wait ten minutes, though the restaurant was empty. People began arriving at 8pm and were shown to their tables, and we still weren't seated. After about 20 minutes, my partner went to the bar for a drink since nobody had asked if we wanted one, but nobody was there, so he returned after five minutes. After 40 minutes with no one speaking to us, we went back to our room hungry, feeling we weren't going to eat at the hotel. The place seems understaffed, with little hospitality or basic good manners, perhaps because only one person spoke a little English. The corridor was very noisy, with just 25 rooms on opposite sides, and barking dogs in the first staff room echoed down it.
