Bio Motel

I absolutely hated being cold all evening and through the night, which is a shame because the location is good. The room was already cold when I arrived, the floor tiles felt frozen, and the electric heater was stuck at 5 with a screw. The shower water wasn't hot, and the bathroom and toilet opened straight onto the main room, so the heater couldn't warm the whole space. I don't think “bio” meant much beyond the wooden structure, since the insulation, food, and soap weren't bio either. The breakfast was poor, too, and it felt like they were trying to save money on everything. Because of Covid they were serving takeaway meals. At 20h30, while I was still eating, reception called in a rough tone and told me to bring the dishes back. I wouldn't recommend staying here in winter.

The parking is right outside the room, and late arrivals can pick up their key from a secure box. Breakfast was plentiful, and the quiet location is handy for business, especially with Plastic Omnium very close by. The weak point was the Wi-Fi, which kept disconnecting and didn't work properly.

There's a restaurant here, and the burger and pizza are really nice.

A clean, simple motel for a night’s stop before carrying on.
