Golden Tulip Roissy Saint Witz

The room was big, and it and the rest of the hotel were clean. There's guarded parking in the inner courtyard, with chargers for electric vehicles. The staff were nice. Breakfast is available, but the choice isn't great, though you'll find enough not to go hungry. The sauna and gym are free to use. There's also a small sauna that fits 4-5 people, a jacuzzi that wasn't working during my stay, an outdoor terrace and pool, and a small pool table and bar in reception. They provide shampoo, shower caps and other bathroom items, but no hotel slippers or robe for going to the sauna. I would've liked some towel hooks in the bathroom, since there weren't any.

The outside seating area was probably my favorite part. The seats were comfy, and the pool was really nice in the heat. Breakfast was okay, although for the first few days there was hardly anything left by 7:30am. I wish there'd been sauces to go with the eggs and bread. I also loved that a whole TV channel was devoted to Indiana Jones, and was available in English. The hotel itself was decent, but it didn't wow me. It smelled kind of musty inside, and our room wasn't that clean when we arrived. The gym was closed, which was a real disappointment.

We've now had a first: walking into two rooms that were already occupied because the hotel couldn't keep track of which rooms it had sold. We didn't feel safe staying somewhere where someone might walk in on us, so we left. They said they couldn't refund us and told us to email them a week later to discuss it.

We were a family of two adults and two boys, staying May 27-30 for the CL final. The pool and the seating around it were a huge plus, and honestly made the place feel like a much higher-standard hotel. The grounds and the whole hotel were impeccably clean. The rooms, facilities and reception areas were all presented really well, with a classy, modern feel. The fixtures, fittings and use of space were high quality, credit to the design team. We had a wonderful stay, and the staff were superb. Value for money matters to us, and The Golen Tulip Roissy Saint Witz delivered plenty for the price. We'll definitely return.
