We had a lovely holiday at La Belle Créole. The accommodation was spacious, and the owners were welcoming and helpful. The neighbor's dogs at the crooked house were the one thing that spoiled it for us. If animal welfare matters to you, it was painful to see them: one was chained up, and the other kept in a makeshift kennel under two square meters in the blazing sun, never taken out, whining day and night. How someone treats their animals says a lot about them, and we thought this was awful. It's one reason we wouldn't stay at the same place if we returned to Guadeloupe.

Out in the countryside, and very well placed for Bois Jolan beach.

We were welcomed into a beautiful, green, peaceful setting. The cottage was roomy and practical, and the pool was a real highlight. Our holiday was all about peace and relaxation. There was a welcome basket and drinks waiting for us. A great place to keep in mind for another vacation.
