We were glad when someone helped us arrange pizzas, which arrived about 40 minutes later. The whole site was quiet and peaceful, but when we got there at 6:15 pm in mid-April, the office was shut and nobody answered the backup number. The website listed a restaurant/cafe and a pool, but both were closed. After putting up our two tents, we found just one basic basin and shower, plus a poor toilet with no paper or seat. We paid for the tents in the morning when someone arrived at 9.

My mother stayed in one of the lodges and loved it. It was clean and well equipped. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, too. The pine forest setting is lovely and really peaceful. The beach, lakes, and shops are a short drive away, no more than ten minutes, which is part of why it's so quiet here. A great choice if you want a calm stay.

There's plenty of shade, and the campsite is quiet with dedicated cycling spots next to the forest. It does feel a bit like a caravan park, though, and the facilities are a little walk away.

Rude service, overpriced, and the services were a zero.

The La Hugotière seminar room was comfortable and very well equipped, and we ate excellent food at the restaurant. The welcome was warm both there and at the campsite. Our mobile home was comfortable and had everything we needed for our wonderful four-day stay at Camping Las Chancas. Thanks to the whole team. I'll be back!
