Bertrand was a superb host, and the cleanliness, food, service and general friendliness were all exceptional. He was so helpful with restaurant recommendations and bookings. My wife and I spent a long weekend at Chateau La Maronne hoping to unwind, and it delivered completely. It’s one of the calmest, most laid-back places we’ve ever stayed. We’ll certainly return for another relaxing break among the Bordeaux vineyards.

Surrounded by organic vineyards, the grounds have a secure 6x12m pool, a pétanque court and a BBQ. This magnificent manor house has been fully renovated and tastefully decorated, making it ideal for a big family or a group of friends. The new owners have turned the former bed and breakfast, rated 5 stars, into a real haven of peace. There are five suites, each with its own bathroom. Highly recommended!

My daughter and I spent a few days at Château de la Maronne, and the place is incredible. The refined decor and charming hosts made a lovely impression, and they gave us excellent advice about local attractions. There’s a pool in a large park with centuries-old trees, all surrounded by vineyards. I highly recommend this peaceful retreat...

The hosts are charming and the amenities are high quality. It’s a beautiful place to stay, ideally situated for discovering the Entre-Deux-Mers region and enjoying the countryside. We’ll definitely return.
