Parking was easy, the road access is handy, and there are a couple of places to eat right nearby. There’s also an HGV fuel stop behind the hotel and a regular petrol station a short drive away. It’s a no-frills roadside place, but the room was clean and had what we needed. We had a triple room, and they also provided a cot for our toddler. Dogs are welcome for just €6 each. Comfortable enough and good value for a stopover.

The welcome from the staff was lovely, and breakfast, though on the small side, was really good. We stayed for a couple of nights. It’s right by the highway and well placed as a starting point for exploring somewhere different. I’d definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was great value. The rooms are fairly basic, as you’d expect from a three-star hotel, but they were cleaned to a high standard. The air conditioning worked really well, which we appreciated.

Stopped for lunch and really enjoyed the quality of the food and the excellent dessert. I recommend the brioche.

The rooms are a good size, with a nice en-suite, and the beds were clean and comfortable. Service was very friendly. The place is just looking a little tired.
