I was visiting the Alsace region for the first time, and I was lucky to find this guesthouse. The owner was nice to me, took time to explain everything, and gave me good advice about the city and region. The first-floor rooms were charming and quite spacious, with a private living room. Everything was clean, well arranged, and comfortable. I fell in love with the vintage decorations in the house. Thank you again. I highly recommend this place, and I promise I'll come back and stay again.

The house is in a great spot for catching the bus to explore the region, and it's close to a grocery store and bakery. We had a wonderful stay: the room was clean and tastefully decorated, and the warm welcome on arrival put us at ease right away. We highly recommend this place.

We barely saw anyone during our two-night stay. The only contact was at check-in, and it was someone other than the owner, who asked us to pay an amount different from what we'd agreed. Since it was a busy weekend and we felt stuck, we paid. Breakfast was down to groceries from Super U and coffee my wife made herself. We also had to reconnect all the electric heaters. When we left, nobody was there; a sticky note told us to be gone by 10 am. We shut the door behind us without even saying goodbye. This felt nothing like a guesthouse, and the whole experience was very bad.

At €75 a night, I expected more from room 4, especially since the bathroom and toilet are two floors down. There wasn't even a chamber pot, sink, or bottle of water, and the mirror was tiny. The room is up in the attic, reached by an attic staircase, with no basic comfort to make up for that. Breakfast also didn't look like the website photo.
