José knows Mafate well and is passionate about hiking, so his advice was genuinely useful. We really recommend staying here. Our room was comfortable and lovely, with a large bathroom, and breakfast was excellent. Having a kitchen where you can make your own meals is a real plus. Anne-Laure and Christophe

We come back every year as a family, and it’s a delight each time. Even rainy, warm weather doesn’t spoil things, since the pool and its facilities are there to enjoy, and the beds make for peaceful nights. Breakfast is homemade and delicious, with an incredible view of St. Denis. José and Nicole know the island inside out. It’s a friendly, family-oriented place with a romantic feel, and it more than lived up to what we wanted.

We were able to arrive early, check into our room, and use the pool right away, which was wonderful. The owners are very friendly. The bedrooms were excellent and the shower was great, with views across the sea and broad coastline. Breakfast was excellent too, with fresh fruit, bread, and drinks. There’s also a refrigerator, washing machine, and kitchen available if you’d like to cook.

This was the first stop of our honeymoon, and we loved the private room and the mattress. We’ve never slept so well. The welcome was warm, and we really appreciated the kindness and helpful advice. Thanks for everything.
