The location is excellent, with the ferry, beach, shops, and restaurants all nearby, so there’s little need for a car while staying in Ste Maxime. We had private parking, though the space was useful. The balcony has a superb view across the Golfe to St Tropez. Villa Maxime is a small block of around 24 apartments, some let for holidays and others lived in year round. It was quiet and comfortable overall. I was sorry to see the negative comment from two years ago.

It’s very average. Being near the city center is the main plus, and there is private parking, though the space is cramped. The apartment is dated, and there was a bad smell from the pipes.
