Villa Petra

The place was a disaster. Everything felt old, the entrance to the courtyard was steep and narrow, and the mismatched cutlery looked as if it had been gathered from the trash. The sockets were coming out of the walls and the equipment was rusty. It was also very hard to find: Google Maps led us to three streets blocked by bars or gates. The person who came to greet us was sadly unfriendly and even raised his voice, although we arrived within the published check-in hours, which ran until 9:00 PM. I wouldn’t recommend it under any circumstances.

The house is roomy and works well for groups of 5-6 people, and the price is reasonable. It’s in a lovely area with lots of villas, though the city center is still a 10-minute drive away. Our welcome was poorly organized: the guy who was meant to meet us arrived 45 minutes late, didn’t answer the phone, and gave us the wrong apartment.

Honestly, how can anyone charge for this? Even places used for emergency accommodation are less dirty. You have to see the photos to believe it. I’ve never stayed in such a dump. We clearly don’t share the same standards.

A charming villa, and I really enjoyed staying here. Thanks for the experience, and well done!
