Le Gaetana hôtel

Pascal and Colette were always welcoming and attentive, and their kindness deserves a special mention. The hotel itself is new, modern, beautifully designed, and very well equipped. Set in the hills away from town, it’s peaceful and has magnificent views. We had a wonderful stay at the Gaetana Hotel in Sainte-Anne and would gladly come back. See you soon! ✌🏻

We booked the Villa Azur suite with a private pool after our stay at the Gaetana Hotel, but on arrival we were told the restaurant and bar were closed, leaving us without dining options. For a so-called 4-star hotel, the price isn’t justified by the location when there’s no service. The bathroom needs to be brought up to code, with holes and poor finishing. My husband fell on the first day, and the suite is extremely uncomfortable. When we raised these issues with the manager, he suddenly presented himself as nothing more than the project supervisor. We loved that response. At the price charged, the lack of service and comfort is unacceptable for what is essentially just a rental. It’s far from being a hotel, let alone a 4-star one.

Pascal and the whole team gave us a warm welcome and were kind and attentive. The villas are superb and luxurious, spotless, and very well maintained. The view is incredible, the pool lovely, and the peace and quiet absolute. The cuisine is excellent, congratulations to the chef, and the breakfast deserves a special mention. It was truly exceptional. A superb place, absolutely worth discovering!

A single example says a lot: there isn’t an electrical outlet by any mirror, so how is a woman supposed to do her hair? And using the shower for just 3-4 minutes floods the bathroom. For a $640/night hotel or apartment, I expect a fully equipped kitchen, terrace, bathroom, and living room, along with exceptional service that goes beyond expectations. That wasn’t our experience. After a year in business, the place still has teething problems, which I find unacceptable. It seemed nice, but there are too many shortcomings to justify a 4-star rating. I wouldn’t recommend it and won’t return.
