The wine bar nearby was a nice bonus, and this made a great stop when travelling south to north. The hosts were lovely, the beds comfortable, and breakfast was amazing.

Breakfast was a treat, with tasty local produce served downstairs in a clever link building in the old courtyard. Muriel was welcoming and attentive, then gave us space to relax in the lovely accommodation she has created. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and really comfortable, in a pleasant, peaceful village. We stayed overnight on the way between the UK and Austria because it’s close to the Autoroute, but it would also be a good base for visiting nearby Metz and the surrounding area. One of our best overnight stays in France.

Our hostess and her husband put on a fantastic breakfast, with delicious fruit, eggs made to order, and local breads and croissants. The rooms were quiet, comfortable, and beautifully done, much nicer than a typical hotel room. She also shared generous restaurant recommendations and even called several places to make reservations for us. Such a great place to stay near Metz.

The attic rooms could use air conditioning to match the otherwise high standard of service. Still, it was a very peaceful stay. The rooms are magnificent, breakfast is fresh and delicious, and the little patio is lovely when it’s warm.

Breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully presented, with everything we could have wanted. We found the suite, and the whole house, lovingly and tastefully furnished, and it felt like a peaceful, comfortable oasis. Muriel made us feel at home right away and shared useful advice about dining, parking, and excursions. The two owners have created a truly beautiful place. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay, highly recommended.
