Anne-Marie gave us a warm welcome and showed us an exceptional place in the heart of the village, where her friends, renowned artists and humanists, create their work: painter Joëlle Kem and mosaic artist Cécile Barbara. It was a real cultural enrichment, and we had an excellent 3-night stay in this characterful house tucked into greenery. Our bright room was very quiet, with quality bedding and a fresh-looking bathroom, kept clean, and fitted with a walk-in shower. Breakfast was generous, facing the garden.

We'd love to return. The welcome was extremely warm, and everything we needed was in the romantic caravan tucked behind a chateau in the garden of a small French village near Chablis. Trees and bushes screen the little spot, making it feel completely private, just right for two. The beds were comfortable, and there was a small bathroom with a shower and toilet, plus a stove for chilly evenings.

The room was very comfortable, with a good bed, and the bathroom had been renovated with a walk-in shower. We had a very pleasant, peaceful stay in this manor house on the tree-lined banks of the Serein river, 10 minutes from the Nitry exit.

The hostess is truly special, and it's worth making the trip. The country house is surrounded by greenery, spotless and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent, with crepes, homemade jams, fresh bread, cheese and fruit juice.

The welcome was pleasant. In the vintage room, the chairs were totally uncomfortable and didn't match the photo. They really need replacing. The bathroom has a pretty pattern, but the deep bathtub takes good mobility to use, so it's not suitable for older guests. There isn't a shower cubicle or curtain, so you have to be careful not to splash water everywhere.
