Appartement l'Etrier Camarguais

The view is amazing, and it's peaceful.

We got a very warm welcome, even though we arrived earlier than planned. The owner and staff give the place a calm, serene feel, and the sunset is magical. Our room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was warm, delicious, and convivial, in keeping with the quality of the establishment. The highlight was the fish restaurant from the same group, which we happened upon in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. I highly recommend staying here, and we can't wait to return.

The owner was very friendly and attentive, and we had a wonderful holiday in this little farmhouse. It's ideally placed in the heart of the Camargue marshes, just a stone's throw from the bird sanctuary and Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer.

I only wish we'd stayed longer than one night. The setting is unlike anywhere else I've seen, and Véronique is lovely and so welcoming. The room had an incredible view, and everything around us felt peaceful. We were there in April, when it was quiet enough to enjoy the terrace at the end of the pontoon. We also shared a moment with the beautiful mare that wanders freely around the pond and rooms. Incredible.
