We were very happy here. The campsite is a handy base for exploring the Camargue, especially by bike, and there’s a lovely beach nearby. The town has a great local market, too. Facilities are excellent, including a nice pool area with a separate adults-only pool for anyone looking for some peace and quiet.

The reception staff were the best, and when I needed to make an urgent work call, they let me use their office because the Wi-Fi was so weak. That was incredibly helpful. Our spot had shade and sand, and the campsite is an idyllic walk from Saintes Maries. The nearby beach is great, and at night you can hear the waves. The adults-only pool is lovely. The shop is tiny, but fresh bread is available every day.

We paid €50 a day for a camper and two dogs, which felt too expensive for what we got. The sea is close, but you can’t see it from the campsite. The toilets had no seats, and the showers were okay. There were huge ants all over our spot, and the mosquitoes were hell. We’d paid for two days but left after one. I tried to get our money back, but, well, they said no.

The beach access is a real plus, and the sea was mostly calm and safe for children. It’s a nice place by the sea with everything you need, and I’d stay again. The site is starting to feel worn, though, and the bar and shop could use an update. The Wi-Fi didn’t work and mobile reception was limited. Tiger mosquitoes and sandy dust are things the campsite can’t control, so come prepared. Most guests are French, which is great, but few people speak English and the kids’ club is in French. Bring cash, too, since we found several places that wouldn’t take cards. That’s why I’ve given it four stars.

The bugs are awful. It’s almost impossible to sit outside, and we’ve had so many nasty bites that they’re spoiling our stay. The setting is otherwise hard to beat, right on the beach and an easy bike ride from town, with the Camargue all around. The toilets are clean and the showers hot, but the water temperature is hard to control. You need a band to use the showers and have to leave a deposit for it. The shop is basic but has bread. Some of the reception staff are lovely and helpful, while others aren’t.
