They replied quickly and were really friendly and helpful, especially with the trailer. We had a lovely déjeuner in the garden, and the city is beautiful, about a 15-minute walk away. There’s a good crêperie too. A great stay at hotel le Parisien, Saintes! :)

For €20 a night, this little family hotel is cheap as chips, eight portions of them, in fact. It’s close to Saintes station and the rooms are clean and comfortable, though a bit worn. The bathroom is shared and there’s no TV, but the internet works. I skipped breakfast, though the setting looked nice and I’m sure it would’ve been good. If delayed trains and missed connections leave me stuck in Saintes again, I know where I’ll stay, then I’ll head to the Gourmet d'Asie to eat.

Good value for the money, with a clean room and a good shower. The staff were very friendly, and the train station is conveniently nearby.

We really enjoyed breakfast, and the room was very clean and nice. It could use one or two more electrical outlets, but otherwise I had no complaints. The lady who welcomed us was kind, polite, always smiling, and gave us a map and helpful directions to the city’s best monuments. Thank you again for the stay. 👍

The manager was lovely and gave us great advice about getting around. We felt warmly welcomed at this small family-run hotel, which is right by the train station and a short walk from the city's hidden gems. Everything went perfectly. I highly recommend it!
