Claudine is a welcoming host, and I loved the courtyard terrace and breakfast room. It's a quirky B&B in the heart of Saintes, with fun, upbeat decor. Saintes is one of those places where you immediately feel you'll have a nice visit.

The breakfast was really nice, and so were the view and the care we got during our stay. Claudine was warm and welcoming, and the B&B is lovely inside, with tasteful decor and a cozy feel. It’s right in the city center. We’d absolutely recommend it.

The old building has a musty smell, though it has air conditioning and it was easy to come and go with the key. The historic center is a great location, and the landlady was lovely. The WiFi code didn’t work, and there was no hot water for a shower at 10pm.

The owner was really helpful, and breakfast was great. The place is quirky but comfortable. Superb.

We stopped here overnight on the way to Spain. The host was lovely, and the central location was convenient, not far from the motorway.
