There were plenty of towels, which was a plus. The room itself was okay for a budget hotel, but there was nowhere to hang clothes, or even a table. With the window shut, the ventilation barely worked, and the strong smell of cleaning products meant I had to air the room before going in. Music from the restaurant and terrace across the way was very loud until 1:30 a.m.

I'd rather keep quiet. If I speak, I'll get into big trouble, and I don't want that.

The dining room has a lovely chalet feel, and the owners, a father and son, were attentive and helpful. Breakfast was standard. Our room and bathroom were small, but comfortable enough for a pleasant two-night stay.

The bed was painfully hard, and you can hear people outside talking as if the soundproofing barely exists. The bathroom was in pretty average shape, with a fabric shower curtain that let water through and felt unhygienic. At 8:40, the cleaner was shouting for us to leave the room. We still had another night in the area, and I'm glad we hadn't booked several nights here.
