Logis Le Domaine De Valaudran

The restaurant was a highlight, with a delicious four-course dinner and a great selection of wines. The fine cooking felt worth the roughly €40 price. The rooms were in great shape, spacious and had comfortable beds. I liked the mix of classic and modern design. Definitely recommend it! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

This was the third overnight visit here for my partner, our dog and me. The room was comfortable, dinner was excellent and breakfast was good. It's conveniently located, with friendly, efficient service and reasonable prices. We're planning to come back next month.

The restaurant made the stay special. We had a superb four-course dinner with an excellent wine selection, and the fine cooking was worth the price, which I think was €37. The hotel combines old and new, and the rooms were in splendid shape, with firm beds that made for a good night's sleep. Recommended!

The grounds and building look impressive, but that didn't make up for the poor service or the superior room being much smaller than shown on the website. The bar also appeared to be closed. I booked and paid to upgrade two rooms directly to superior rooms for four people, with two single beds in each. At check-in we were given key cards, but each room had one bed. Reception said that because I booked after 3 p.m., I could only have a double bed. That wasn't suitable for our group and wasn't what I'd booked. They offered no apology or alternative, so we had to find another hotel, where the help we got was also poor. When I asked reception for a refund, they argued that they couldn't give one, even after I explained the mistake was theirs. I shouldn't have to argue to get my money back. Mistakes happen, but staff made no effort to put this right. I can't recommend a place with such unhelpful service and a misleading booking website.
