Chambre d'Hotes Elena

A bit old-fashioned, but still pretty good.

I decided to cut my stay short because the balconies were unusable for me with the smoke from the neighbors, who seemed to smoke a lot. The view was over a municipal parking lot that some inconsiderate neighbors use as a dumping ground. The description makes the tree-lined park sound better than it is. It’s basically a terrace with one tree in the middle and lots of plastic chairs. The location was noisy too, at the junction of two roads, one of them under construction.

I meant to stay three nights on my way between Paris and Salies, where I was planning to settle, but ended up staying nine. The studio was just right, and the cinema right next door was really handy. It’s close to the town center.

I left my car in the parking lot and walked everywhere. It’s a lovely place, and I loved the apartment. The kitchen had everything I could need. I’ll be back.
