The location is green and peaceful, about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Salies de Bearn. Our rooms were modern, well appointed, and super clean, with very comfortable beds. The wine from the Domaine is excellent, and the hosts couldn’t do enough for their guests.

We were there for three nights with our 10-month daughter, and she slept very well in the comfortable bed. The views across the countryside at Domaine Labouroume are gorgeous, and we loved seeing the farm animals. Aline and Jeremie, the owners, made the room feel personal with cookies, infused fruit water, and handmade soaps. Aline is a wonderful host and an excellent chef. We chose the dinner option for convenience, and her homemade meals were as delicious as a restaurant in the region. One evening we had sweet potato with duck and an almond fruit salad, another time asparagus risotto, and on our last night pumpkin soup, fresh cheeses, smoked duck, and chocolate mousse. Breakfast included fresh bread, pastries, fruit, and local apple juice. Everything was exceptional, it felt like home, and we can’t wait to come back. We highly recommend Domaine Labouroume to families, couples, and friends 😍

We only planned one night but ended up staying four. Aline and Jérémie were warm, helpful, and attentive hosts. The rooms are in a beautifully restored building, with excellent beds and furnishings. Our modern bathroom had both a bath and separate shower, with thermostatic shower control.

Aline was a lovely host, helpful, kind, and fun. We spent one night in room number three at this recently renovated country house. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, and all the details were great. It was very quiet too.

Domaine Labouroume gave us the perfect base for a few days exploring the Atlantique Pyrenees. Merci beaucoup Aline and Jeremy for such a wonderful stay. It had everything we hoped for, without feeling like a hotel. The stylish room was beautifully appointed, exceptionally clean, and extremely comfortable. Even during the 35 degree daytime heat wave outside, the old stone walls and shutters kept it pleasantly cool indoors. We especially looked forward to breakfast each morning. Aline brought out crepes, the best chocolate muffins ever, cake, croissants, French breads, homemade jams, cold pressed fresh apple juice, and freshly ground coffee. I still can’t get over the green tomato and yellow melon jam. Sitting by the renovated large barn, looking over fields, woodland, flowers, and Salies-de-Bearn, was a lovely experience. We ate in one evening too. Aline rustled up a delicious ragout followed by Tiramasu Clafoutis. Before dinner, we toured Jeremy’s wine making equipment and sampled a bottle. Simple rustic French pleasures. What more could you want? We explored different parts of the region each day, following Aline’s recommendations to authentic places that weren’t overrun by tourists. We stopped at little cafes, bistros, and bars along the way. The roads were superb and the scenery breathtaking at every turn. But the memory that will stay with us is watching the sunset at Domaine Labouroume in the cool evening air, with a lovely bottle of wine, planning the next day’s adventures. Such simplicity, peace, and French rustic perfection. We highly recommend Domaine Labouroume for anyone wanting an authentic, quality stay. 10/10.
