We got plenty of helpful ideas for walks, bike rides, visits and other things to do. The yurt was in a quiet spot, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was fine. Breakfast was generous, with homemade bread, brioches and cakes. We also recommend Restaurant Le Feu au Serment in Cognac (8km) for its wood-fired cooking. Thanks for the warm welcome. A good place to stop on the way to the southwest. The welcome was very friendly, and breakfast was excellent. For 5 people, including two young children, having 28 m² at this price is great value.

The staff were unpleasant and inconsiderate. They came into the yurt whenever they wanted, even while we were inside, and cleared breakfast before we had finished. The place itself was a mess: the yurt was dirty outside, the lawn hadn't been mowed, and cleanliness overall left a lot to be desired. The workmanship was poor too, with silicone smeared on by hand, unfinished plastering, and an unfinished bathroom interior. This was nowhere near what we expected. The owner seemed to put profit ahead of guests' well-being. Our unusual night really was unusual, in the worst possible way. I have no reason to lie. Some self-reflection on your part would be welcome. I don't recommend this establishment under any circumstances. You were negligent, and I've rarely come across hosts like you. Deplorable. The owner and I don't know why you treated us with so little consideration, since you weren't obliged to accept us.

The yurt was in awful shape, with cobwebs, dusty furniture and a door that wouldn't close. The bathrooms were unheated and unsanitary. Dinner was steamed carrots and potatoes, a chicken leg sitting in water with no seasoning, and a waffle with no taste. Breakfast was dry brioche and stale bread. The welcome wasn't warm either. They only showed us how to use a broken hair dryer. When it was time to leave, the owner's only comment was, "You owe me this much for the extras," with no question about how the stay had gone. Absolutely wouldn't recommend this place.
