We arrived in the late afternoon to find nobody there to welcome us, so we called the hotel manager about parking our large motorcycle. He said secure parking wouldn’t be available until 10:30 PM. We’d booked by phone for the weekend of July 14th and had specifically said we were motorcyclists who needed secure parking. The room was only averagely clean. The next morning, the manager happened to tell us we had to leave, because he’d been distracted during our call the day before. The room was already booked for the night of the 13th, and the hotel was full. He offered no alternative accommodation and made no attempt to compensate us. Our beautiful weekend was cut short, so thanks for an unpleasant experience. I can only recommend your establishment, of course...

With no ventilation or air conditioning, we had to open the windows, but the neighborhood kids on scooters made a racket all night, along with the cars constantly passing beneath the window on the very busy street. The beds were narrow and foamy, with awful pillows too. The toilet and bathroom are in the bedroom with no partition, so there are smells, humidity, and toilet-flushing noise. The rooms are clean and newly renovated, but small enough that the toilet door hits the bed. The staff are friendly, but that’s about it. If I’d known, I’d have stayed somewhere else.

The setting is quite nice, but we won’t be back. There was no welcome because we hadn’t given prior notice, and we slept badly in the heat. Our little one fell out of bed. When we mentioned it, the woman said we “should have asked,” even though we’d told them he was only 3 years old. There was hair in the sheets, they’d been put on backwards, and there were hair and ants in the toilet. No hand soap either. When we returned the keys, nobody even asked if everything had gone well. It seemed they just wanted to pocket the money. Bad experience.

The fan was appreciated during the heatwave, but the TV reception was very poor and there were no cups in the bathroom. The establishment needs to be taken over. The new owner can only do better.
