Donald & Laeticia were wonderful hosts, full of helpful tips and advice about Salon and the surrounding area. We stayed a few midweek days for a family wedding and can’t praise the hotel enough. Our double room looked out over the enclosed rear courtyard. It was spotless, spacious enough, and air conditioned, which was well needed in 36c heat. The old townhouse has lovely period features, shaded balconies, and high ceilings. Breakfast is served in the pretty courtyard when the weather allows. For 7 Euro per person, we thought it was a bargain: fresh baguettes and croissants, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee, and homemade marmalades and preserves. There’s limited parking outside, but the owners have a deal at a nearby underground carpark for 7 Euros a day instead of the usual 24. It’s a safe spot, keeps the car out of the sun, and is exactly a 7 minute walk away. The hotel is also just a 5 minute walk from central Salon, with shops, restaurants, and bars. There’s a huge market in the town centre every Wednesday. If you’re visiting Salon or the nearby area, stay here!

The enclosed patio was a lovely spot to sit with a drink, and the rooms were clean and quiet. We stayed five nights in Sept 2018 with friends and felt welcome from the start. Donald and Laetitia are brilliant hosts, full of ideas for places and restaurants to visit, and they go above and beyond to make your stay happy. The location is great for Salon. We’ll definitely come back, and have already recommended it to friends.

The hotel has a distinctive character and a perfect location, just a 3 minute walk from the old center. The owner was amazing, helping us find places to visit and eat, and even helping us communicate with our insurance company after a small accident. Breakfast was great too!

The owners were friendly and gave us very good tips for visiting the town. It’s a quiet hotel near the city center, in an 18th c. house, with clean, peaceful bedrooms. Breakfast was plentiful and served in a lovely fresh garden, with homemade marmalade, good bread, and croissants.

The hosts were great, and I couldn’t fault them. The rooms were clean and tidy, with free wifi and TV. It’s a nice location, just a short walk from the centre and its many cafes. Highly recommended for a stay in Salon.
